BRIDGE2THINK (company name) respects your privacy and is committed to maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of the personal data we collect. This Privacy Policy explains what information BRIDGE2THINK collects about you, when you use any BRIDGE2KNOW (product name) portal, what we do with the information, who has access to it and how we handle the content you place within our products and services.

By registering for or using BRIDGE2KNOW sites you consent to the collection, transfer, processing, storage, disclosure and other uses described in this Privacy Policy.

We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time, so please check back regularly to keep up to date on our practices.

Notice

The site includes links to other websites whose privacy practices may differ from ours. If you submit personal information to any of those sites, your information is governed by those third parties’ privacy policies. You should always review these policies carefully to make sure you are comfortable with the ways in which they collect and use your information.

Collection of personal data & access rights

Personal user information
We only store information that is necessary for the operation of the BRIDGE2KNOW platform. This includes name, email address, some personal information and a profile picture that can be entered optionally.

Administrative staff at BRIDGE2KNOW, key account managers and client side users with user-management roles are permitted access to the data. Should messaging be enabled, some information can be made available through our address book function. It is also possible to opt out of this via the user profile page.

Access logs
We store information about the requests that are made to our system, including IP address, the site visited, data sent (for example, search requests) and the time the request was made.

Access to this information is restricted to our chief administrative staff and is only used to enable improvements to be made such as upgrades or quality controls or in the unlikely event that a criminal investigation requires it (for example malicious access to BRIDGE2KNOW).

User tracking
To track the usage of BRIDGE2KNOW, PIWIK tracking software is used. All stored information is anonymised and cannot be traced back to individual user activity. We keep track of data including sites visited, searches sent, duration of visits, as well as some information regarding the user’s browser and system. Where e-learning purposes require it, certain user-identifiably information including progress and course completion is saved.

This information is restricted to BRIDGE2KNOW key account managers and chief administrative staff. Summarised reports can be sent to designated people upon customer request. Direct access to the tracking information is also available in this way.

User uploaded content
Users with file-management privileges can upload documents, including presentations, spreadsheets and articles, within the administration panel.

All users with file-management privileges within the portal have access to the data.
Different security levels are available to users. This restricts the content that is available to either be publicly available, open to verified users only or restricted to specific user-groups.

Data collected through Single Sign On (SSO)
If you login to a BRIDGE2KNOW site using SSO, personal credentials are required for authentication. Individual information stored on the corresponding site will feed directly into your account profile on the BRIDGE2KNOW site once you have authenticated your identity using these credentials. You will be able to add or edit personal information after an initial login.

Online Messaging Features
BRIDGE2KNOW may provide messaging functions on the site. Any personal information you choose to submit in such a forum may be read, collected, or used by others who visit these forums, and may be used to send you unsolicited messages. BRIDGE2KNOW is not responsible for the personal information you share with others.

Data collected through Cookie Use
Data and information about registered users may be collected by a cookie file. This is an element of data that a website can send to your browser. It may be stored on your hard drive. An opt out option is available for those that do not wish this to be activated. This is achieved by enabling your web browser to refuse cookies or to prompt you before you accept one. The “remember me” feature is triggered upon your consent with the placement of a permanent cookie on your hard drive. This means that you will not be required to login to every session. You may turn the persistent cookie off by disabling cookies on your computer or clearing your browser history.

Security

Our web hosting partner innofield AG www.innofield.com operates using two secure, ISO/IEC 27001 and PCI DSS certified, Swiss-based data centres. One is located in Zurich (e-Shelter) and the other in Attinghausen, inside a Swiss mountain (Deltalis).
Both data centres are equipped with UPS systems, diesel generators, HVACs climate control equipment, fire alarms, extinguishing and access control systems, 24/7.
As both data centres are used for productive workload, all data backups are replicated across to the opposite location. All customer data is disaster proofed in this way.

Innofield is committed to industry best practices and approaches regarding security measures that prevent the loss, misuse and alteration of the information in their possession. They use various security measures to protect the information they collect, as appropriate to the type of information, including encryption, firewalls, and access controls. They store information provided through our site to them on a computer system located in a controlled facility with limited access. Visitor textual information is encrypted during transmission, their company databases are accessible only by innofield employees, contractors and agents on a need to know basis and who have entered into and are bound by a confidentiality and nondisclosure agreement with innofield.

The transmission of personal data is done so at your own risk. We do strive to ensure that it is protected at all times but this cannot be guaranteed. You can take measures to protect your data yourself by closing your browser after the completion of each user session. This is particularly important if you regularly share your computer with others or if you use a computer in a public place.

Data Integrity

The collection of personal data is relevant for the purposes for which it is to be used. BRIDGE2THINK takes reasonable steps to ensure that data is accurate, complete, current and reliable for this intended use.
